Chris Moore was born in Baltimore, MD and began recording music at home on 4 track cassette as a teenager. In the 90s he began collecting vintage synths from used guitar and pawn shops, using them to record and perform electronic and noise music. Upon moving to New York City in 2002, he began working with fellow Baltimore producers Dave Sitek and Chris Coady, mixing both TV On The Radio and Entrance's debut records. From there, Chris has moved on to record and mix other artists such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Scarlett Johansson (with special guest David Bowie), Foals, Yeasayer, The OhSees, and Liars. More recently, Chris has produced several tracks for Brooklyn's Suckers, as well as travelling to Australia to work with Midnight Juggernauts and Tijuana Cartel. Chris also continues to create sounds and music with vintage synths, adding additional sounds and textures to records by Midnight Juggernauts, Scarlett Johansson, and TV on the Radio. Chris is also a co-writer/multi-instrumentalist in the band Lovers And Reflections, who are planning their debut release in 2011.
